  • Here is A RUFE SNOW TRAVEL Clients Tale:

Oh man we are still trying to recuperate after these last two weeks. Hope is still fighting jet lag (she's been falling asleep at around 7pm everyday so far). But the trip was wonderful. It was funny because when we first got out to Paris, we thought we wouldn’t really need to use the metro because, since we work out and we are young and conscious eaters, our health was so good we could walk to most places.....boy were we wrong...by the end of the 2nd day we decided to ride the metro for the rest of the time (we were so sore and aching from all the walking), including Barcelona. So thanks a bunch for getting us those subway passes because, even though we never had gotten on the metro before, we did learn how to ride them pretty fast and they became very convenient. We were able to go anywhere we wanted in Paris and Barcelona because of it. The people in Paris were rude as expected but it didn’t bother us. We saw all the famous sites we even climbed the stairs to the second floor in the Eiffel tower. Only thing is the food was not very good in our opinion at both France and Spain but we managed to find Italian or Mexican restaurants or even Subway...lol. We liked Barcelona the most though. When we first got there to the hotel, they told us there was a problem with the rooms that we were supposed to be in so they transferred us to another one of the nicer hotels which actually worked out great because we were right in front of several nice places to visit including a cool view of a very famous fountain, two huge pillars, and museums. There also happened to be a festival happening that week and it was really cool to be able to absorb all the culture there during the festival. The beach was very fun and I guess I would say very liberal. All in all there was so many old buildings and architecture and wonderful museums (we saw the Mona Lisa) that we could’ve been there much longer.
